“I am a superhero”. Ms. Marvel, one of the latest Mini-series out on Disney plus for the MCU, introduces us to Kamala Khan and her wonderful family. She is just a normal New Jersey girl with a love for super heroes, especially Captain Marvel. When she develops powers of her own, her somewhat normal teenage girl life is turned up-side down. This is a fun series that gives us a look the MCU first Muslim character and what her life is like. As well as some of the normal everyday superhero type action. We discuss the 1951 animated release from Disney and the 2010 sequel directed by Tim Burton starring Johnny Depp. Both based on the books “Alice's Adventures in Wonderland” and “Through the Looking Glass” from Lewis Carroll. We take a look at a small island off the shores of Ireland in the 1923 and what happens when someone just ups and unfriends you.
